The 28th Developmental Biology of Sea Urchins and Other Marine Invertebrates meeting

Dear colleagues,

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 28th Developmental Biology of Sea Urchins and Other Marine Invertebrates meeting, taking place at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, MA, USA, from April 2-5, 2025.

This year, we have an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers. The Eric Davidson Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Ellen Rothenberg from Caltech. Our invited EMBO lecturer is Yaniv Elkouby from The Hebrew University, and our Early Investigator speaker will be Catherine Schrankel from San Diego State University. Our Friday evening keynote speaker will be Ed Munro from the University of Chicago. Additionally, we will continue our tradition of pre-meeting workshops. Amro Hamdoun (UCSD) will lead a session on Techniques in Sea Urchin Transgenesis, and Brad Shuster (NMSU) and Vanessa Barone (Hopkins Marine Station, Stanford) will conduct an Image Analysis Workshop. Our meeting will include a diversity of plenary sessions, with one talk per plenary selected from abstracts, as well as concurrent sessions.
